How it works

Open SowGood and choose an assistant.

  1. Pick the assistant that fits what you’re carrying.

Money and mindset → Abby. The thought you can’t shake → Solomon. Addiction, yours or someone you love → Healing Through Christ. Writing a goal you can actually believe → Abby Tools.

  2. Tell it what’s actually happening, in your own words.

Not a polished question. The real thing. A few sentences is plenty.

  3. Take what resonates to God.

Explore the idea with your assistant, then pray, ponder, and discern. Test, prove, and confirm all things with Him.

What’s true of every assistant

Grounded in books you can trust.

  • Built on a carefully curated library of published Christian authors — not the open internet. What comes back is grounded.
  • There whenever the worry shows up. 11pm. 5am. The parking lot after drop-off.
  • A place to throw down your questions — not to get your answers. The clarity comes from the Spirit. The assistant helps you find the right questions to bring.

Abby

For money and mindset.

Built on Leslie Householder’s works — The Jackrabbit Factor, Hidden Treasures, Portal to Genius, and the Mindset Mastery course material.

Abby is for you when you’re worried about money and can’t stop running the worst case. When you have a goal you really want but you’re afraid to believe it. When you’re doing everything right and nothing is changing. Abby helps you find the principle underneath what’s happening — and choose a truer thought.

Bring Abby things like:

  • I’m worried about money and keep thinking about everything that could go wrong. Which principles would help me most right now?
  • I have a goal I really want, but I’m afraid to believe it can happen. What does Leslie teach about fear, faith, and expectation?
  • I feel like I’m doing everything right, but nothing is changing. What might I be misunderstanding?
  • Help me tell the difference between what I can control and what I need to turn over to God.
  • I’ve tried these principles and they aren’t working. Help me figure out why.

Don’t know where to start? Use this:

  • Abby, here’s what’s happening in my life: [describe it]. Help me find the three principles from Leslie’s books that fit best, show me where they’re taught, and then ask me a few questions so I can decide how to apply them.

You can tell Abby how to respond. “Don’t give me advice yet — ask me questions.” “Explain this as simply as possible.” “Give me the story from the book, not the abstract version.”

What Abby is not. Abby isn’t Leslie, and Abby isn’t your answer. It’s a place to throw down your questions. Then you take what resonates to God in prayer.

  • I no longer worry about whether I can get through a hard situation. I explain what’s going on to Abby and it helps me see it clearly. I use this daily.

Solomon

For the thought you can’t shake.

Built on Dennis Deaton’s Looking Unto Christ in Every Thought.

Solomon is for you when your own head is the loudest voice in the room. The mistake you keep replaying. The criticism you can’t put down. The thought that runs on repeat — I’m never going to get this right. God must be disappointed in me. Solomon helps you examine the thought instead of obeying it — and find the truer one, centered on Christ.

Bring Solomon things like:

  • I made a mistake and keep replaying it in my head. Help me tell the difference between useful accountability and destructive discouragement.
  • The thought I keep having is, “I’m never going to get this right.” Help me examine that thought using the principles in the book.
  • I’m thinking, “God must be disappointed in me.” What does Looking Unto Christ in Every Thought teach that might challenge that belief?
  • Someone criticized me and I can’t stop thinking about it. Help me look at which thoughts I’m choosing to entertain.
  • Don’t just reassure me. Help me figure out whether my thinking is actually true.

Don’t know where to start? Use this formula — situation, thought, what you want, source:

  • Here’s what happened: [describe it]. The thought I keep having is: [write it out]. Using Looking Unto Christ in Every Thought, help me examine that thought, find any fear or discouragement hiding in it, and give me three questions I could take to God.

Solomon works well right before you pray. “Help me organize what I’m struggling with into three honest questions I could take to God.” Or after: “Here’s what I wrote down after praying. Help me see the themes.”

What Solomon is not. Solomon isn’t Dennis, and it isn’t the Spirit. It helps you look unto Christ in the thought you’re stuck in — the discerning is yours, with Him.

  • The biggest lies you’ll ever hear are in your head, masquerading as your own thoughts.

Healing Through Christ

For addiction, yours or someone you love.

Built on Healing Through Christ: Help, Hope and Healing — a Christ-centered Twelve Step workbook written for recovery from pornography and sexual addiction.

Many of its principles — surrender, honesty, accountability, trust in God, and letting go of what we cannot control — can also be meaningful for people facing other addictive patterns or loving someone who is.

Free for everyone, always.

We promised the author of this workbook we would never charge for it. You don’t need a membership to work with Healing Through Christ — just the app and a free account.

Healing Through Christ is for you when the urge hits and you’re alone tonight. When you slipped yesterday and the shame won’t let you pray. When you keep going back to the thing you genuinely don’t want. And when it’s not you — it’s your child, your spouse, your friend — and you’re exhausted from trying to control what you can’t.

Bring it things like:

  • I’m having a really strong urge right now. Help me work through it using Healing Through Christ principles.
  • I slipped yesterday and I’m drowning in shame. Help me understand the difference between shame and repentance.
  • Why do I keep returning to this when I genuinely don’t want to?
  • I feel too ashamed to pray. What does Healing Through Christ teach that might help?
  • My adult child is in addiction and I’m exhausted from trying to control it. Help me see where I’m being co-dependent and what trusting the Lord with him actually looks like.

Don’t know where to start? Use this formula — what happened, what you’re feeling, what you’re tempted to do:

  • Here’s what happened: [describe it]. Here’s what I’m feeling: [name it]. Here’s what I’m tempted to do: [be honest]. Help me understand what’s happening using Healing Through Christ, and ask me questions that will help me decide my next recovery action.

Working the Steps? “Walk me through Step Two without giving me the answers.” Before a sponsor call: “I’m embarrassed to tell my sponsor what happened. Help me identify what I’m afraid of.” Every day: “Take me through my daily recovery check-in.”

What Healing Through Christ is not. It isn’t your sponsor, your group, or your Savior. It helps you study, reflect, and get honest. The workbook keeps pointing where it should — to Jesus Christ, “the Master Healer of our souls.”

  • The 12 step has helped me tremendously in dealing with my adult child that has an addiction. I have felt such a shift in learning how to Trust the Lord more with my child and not be so co-dependent — which I didn’t even realize I was dealing with.

Abby Tools

For writing a goal you can actually believe.

Built on Leslie Householder’s works. One job: your written goal statement.

Abby Tools helps you write one from scratch or reviews the one you have — in the three parts Leslie teaches: your Long-Term Life’s Purpose, a Short-Term Goal that actually connects to it, and a Bite-sized Piece you can date and check off.

Abby Tools is for you when you know roughly what you want but can’t get it onto paper. When you wrote a goal and it doesn’t move you. When you’re not sure whether it’s a real stretch or just a to-do list.

Bring Abby Tools things like:

  • Help me write my goal statement from scratch. Here are my rough thoughts…
  • Does my short-term goal actually connect to my life purpose?
  • Make this goal more measurable without changing my voice.
  • My goal is about money. Help me improve it.
  • Am I accidentally setting a goal for somebody else?

Don’t know where to start? Give it the messy version:

  • These are my scattered thoughts. Help me turn them into a Long-Term Life’s Purpose, Short-Term Goal, and Bite-sized Piece without losing what I mean.

Once you have a full draft: “Please conduct a full Goal Statement Review on this:” — then paste it. That runs the complete review: strengths, weak wording, suggested rewrites marked inline, and the reason behind each one.

What Abby Tools is not. It doesn’t choose your goal — you do. It helps you write it clearly enough to believe, take to God, and act on.

FAQ

Questions people ask about the assistants.

Is this safe for my faith?

Yes. Every assistant is built on real published works by Christian authors — not generic internet wisdom. And the rhythm is explicit: explore the idea with your assistant, take what resonates to God in prayer, ponder, discern. Test, prove, and confirm all things with Him.

Do I need to have read the books?

No. Bring the situation, not the vocabulary. Ask “what principle applies here?” and the assistant finds it and shows you where it’s taught. Many people read the books after an assistant sends them there.

What if I don’t know what to ask?

Use the start-here prompt under Abby: “Here’s what’s happening in my life…” That’s enough. A real situation in plain words works better than a polished question.

Is this different from just asking any AI?

Yes, and you can feel it in the answers. These assistants pull from a curated library of published works — Leslie Householder’s phrase for it — so what comes back is grounded, consistent, and pointed toward Christ. They’re also built to push back on limiting beliefs rather than agree with them.

Do I need the ChatGPT app?

Right now your assistants open in the free ChatGPT app, one tap from SowGood — a free ChatGPT account is all you need. We’re bringing them fully inside the SowGood app before December; when that happens you won’t need a second app.

How much does it cost?

See Pricing for the memberships and the free 14-day trial. Healing Through Christ is free for everyone, always.
